PROYECTAR EL FUTURO<\/em> (Projecting the Future): INNOVATION AND BUSINESS IN ARCHITECTURE AND REAL ESTATE<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Proyectar el Futuro<\/em> is a podcast dedicated to architecture and real estate, where leading figures in these fields discuss architecture from a business and business management perspective. Presented and directed by Jes\u00fas Rodr\u00edguez and Daniel Rinc\u00f3n de la Vega and led by Joan Vergara Mart\u00ed, the programme addresses issues such as innovation in construction, sustainability in real estate development and the challenges facing the architectural sector today. Each episode offers a detailed analysis of market trends and their implications for the future of architecture.<\/p>\n

Episode 17 featured the participation of our Director of Business Development and Communication, Fabiana Ceide. In this podcast we were able to share how a studio specialising in healthcare architecture<\/a><\/u>, hotels and renovations can be open to new markets.<\/p>\n

VECTORS OF CHANGE IN HEALTHCARE ARCHITECTURE: INTERVIEW WITH FRANCISCO ORTEGA ON CAPITAL RADIO<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Although it is not a podcast, ENERO Arquitectura has also been present in other media such as Capital Radio.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

In this interview, Francisco Ortega, our CEO, discusses the three main vectors of change in healthcare architecture<\/a><\/u>. The first of these is about patients, who are no longer\u00a0 passive subjects and instead they play an active role in healthcare. The next major change is technology. Its continuous evolution forces us to adapt healthcare spaces in a shorter and shorter period of time, promoting flexibility. The last major change is the link between technology and the healthcare service itself. Because of tools such as AI, healthcare centres are able to anticipate their own needs.<\/p>\n

EL ABRIGO<\/em> (The Haven): INVESTIGATING ARCHITECTURE FOR ALZHEMER\u2019S WITH SANTIAGO QUESADA<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Podcasts about healthcare architecture<\/a><\/u> also serve as inspiration for the ENERO Arquitectura team. When asked about some of their favourites the first one was El Abrigo. <\/em><\/p>\n

This podcast presented by Raquel Aull\u00f3n aims to give us a better understanding of the spaces we inhabit. They invite professionals from the sector to talk about their experiences and the ideas that shape their projects.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

In their second season they interview Santiago Quesada, Director of the research group Healthy Architecture & City. This group, founded at the University of Seville eight years ago, aims to improve the quality of life of people with Alzheimer’s and their carers through architecture and design. They promote the ALZARQ research project, funded by the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities.<\/p>\n

VOCES DEL PATRIMONIO (Heritage Voices): AN INSPIRING LOOK AT CULTURAL CONSERVATION<\/h2>\n

Another of the ENERO Arquitectura team’s favourite podcasts is Voces del Patrimonio.<\/em> This multi-platform project is led by Sara Colinas, a restorer committed to the conservation and sharing of historical and artistic heritage. It is dedicated to publicising and highlighting the companies, institutions and professional experts who work for the conservation, protection and sharing of historical and artistic heritage, both tangible and intangible, in every corner of the world.<\/p>\n

From 28 February to 8 June 2025, the Juan March Foundation is presenting an exhibition that brings together works by 20th<\/sup> and 21st<\/sup> century artists for whom colour is an essential and structuring principle. With almost one hundred pieces from five continents, the exhibition focuses on early abstract experiments and the use of areas of flat colour.<\/p>\n

FUERA DE MARCO (Outside the Frame): AN UNPRECEDENTED APPROACH TO GOYA’S BLACK PAINTINGS AND REMBRANDT’S THE NIGHT WATCH<\/h2>\n

From 5 February to 26 October, the CaixaForum in Barcelona is hosting this joint audiovisual exhibition with a look at the art of the past through interaction with the public.<\/p>\n

Night Watching<\/em>, by Rineke Dijkstra, is a video installation that records the comments of different people as they look at Rembrandt’s The Night Watch<\/em>, without us ever seeing the painting. Some people link the painting to their own life or study it in the context of art history. On the other hand, Philippe Parreno’s immersive film La quinta del sordo<\/em> (Villa of the Deaf One) takes us to the house where Goya created his black paintings, recreating a space that no longer exists.<\/p>\n
