[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]At ENERO Arquitectura, we believe that a hospital should be a place that cares from the very first moment. Our hospital architecture projects aim to generate well-being, reduce stress, and improve the experience of those who inhabit them. We imagine places that welcome, care, and speak. To achieve this, we don’t think of walls, but of skins.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Facades are a fundamental part of this approach. They are not simple enclosures but act as living elements that filter light, protect from atmospheric conditions, and ensure privacy without isolation. We focus on key aspects such as efficiency during the construction phase by designing industrialized elements, solar protection, thermal control and energy efficiency, universal accessibility, and dialogue with the environment. We favor the controlled entry of natural light, filtering it with different design resources and ensuring the privacy required by each space. For the skins we design, we choose durable and sustainable materials that require low maintenance and integrate with the environment.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Our facades feature technical design and architectural sensitivity. There is intention in every rhythm, every opening, and every shadow. We know that the way hospital architecture is built also influences how it is lived, worked, and healed.<\/p>\n

We humanize the space from its most visible form: the facade.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

QUIR\u00d3NSALUD PROTON THERAPY CENTER: A FACADE THAT ACCOMPANIES THE TREATMENT<\/h2>\n

The center was designed based on three well-differentiated volumes that relate through a symbiosis, where each one holds a shape and function. This arrangement responds to the natural lighting needs of the care areas and the need for opacity and radiological protection of the space containing the radiotherapy equipment and treatment room. The different volumes and the large bunker are constructed with limestone.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The building envelope combines a limestone skin from the town of Campaspero with large glazed surfaces and skylights that flood the interior spaces with natural light, creating a serene and welcoming atmosphere.<\/p>\n

QUIR\u00d3NSALUD VALLE DEL HENARES HOSPITAL: AN INDUSTRIALIZED FACADE THAT BREATHES LIGHT<\/h2>\n

Clean and well-defined volumes form a clear and functional building. The industrialized facade allows for quick execution and quality control, while strategic openings between building bodies flood the spaces with natural light.<\/p>\n

The industrialization of the facade has reduced the environmental impact during the construction phase.<\/p>\n

QUIR\u00d3NSALUD C\u00d3RDOBA HOSPITAL: A SECOND SKIN WITH MUDEJAR SPIRIT<\/h2>\n

A triangular metal lattice in warm tones envelops the building, filtering light and improving energy performance. Its compact and precise design unifies the whole and reinforces its identity. The facade becomes a second skin that protects, regulates, and provides a recognizable character.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

This second skin not only improves the building’s thermal efficiency but also contributes to creating more comfortable and pleasant environments for patients. The lattice filters sunlight, providing optimal energy conditions and reducing the visual impact of the building.<\/p>\n

The inner skin separates from the internal structure to provide the building with thermal enclosure.<\/p>\n

QUIR\u00d3NSALUD ZARAGOZA HOSPITAL: FACADES THAT MAXIMIZE NATURAL LIGHT AND COMFORT<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The building incorporates a double-skin facade in GRC that combines solar control, thermal insulation, and privacy. This solution optimizes energy performance and creates well-lit interior spaces protected from external noise.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The envelope of this hospital adapts to the different orientations and the urban and natural context that surrounds it.<\/p>\n

JIM\u00c9NEZ D\u00cdAZ FOUNDATION: INNOVATION THANKS TO FLEXBRICK<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The new envelope of one of the hospital’s facades introduces a Flexbrick ceramic lattice system that improves thermal control while also providing protection for the external evacuation stairs. This lateral facade filters light and projects soft shadows.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

This technical intervention becomes a spatial and perceptive improvement, serving as an example of sensitive intervention in existing hospital architecture.<\/p>\n

COLLADO VILLALBA GENERAL UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL: CLARITY AND ORDER IN THE SERVICE OF HEALTH<\/strong><\/h2>\n

At the Collado Villalba General University Hospital, the envelope establishes a direct link with the landscape. The use of gabions with granite stone, materials from the excavation, allows the building not only to insert itself into its context but to reflect and respect it. The facade is composed as a tectonic, natural, and sober plane that gives identity to the whole without stridency.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

This mineral skin provides thermal inertia, protection, and character while reinforcing the sense of belonging to the place. An architecture that listens to the environment before becoming visible.<\/p>\n
